Big news for Disney fans! If you love Its Tough to Be a Bug!, now is the time to plan a visit to Animal Kingdom, because this opening-day attraction will officially close on March 17, 2025.

Located inside the Tree of Life Theater, this immersive 3D show has been a favorite for guests who love a mix of laughs, surprises, and a few unexpected bug-sized effects. However, Disney is making way for new adventures, and that means saying goodbye to this classic attraction.

Whats Next?

In its place, Disney has announced a brand-new show: Zootopia: Better Zoogether, set to open in winter 2025. While we don’t have an exact opening date yet, we do know this will be a Zootopia-themed experience”perfect for fans of Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and the bustling animal metropolis.

Other Animal Kingdom Changes

This isnt the only update coming to the park! Disney also confirmed that DinoLand U.S.A. will be transformed into Pueblo Esperanza, a new land inspired by Encanto, Indiana Jones, and Latin American culture.

This area will feature:

• An Encanto-themed attraction

• A carousel

• An Indiana Jones-inspired ride
